"Psychoacoustical measures of auditory time-frequency masking and application to the analysis-synthesis of sounds".

Time-frequency masking kernel
measured at 4 kHz with a sensation level of 60 dB.

The codes for performing perceptually-motivated analyzes of sounds
are available in the Large Time-Frequency Analysis Toolbox for Matlab/Octave. Perfect-reconstruction filter banks with gammatone and other filter shapes are possible.

The code of the model for sound-source localization
in sagittal planes is available in the Auditory Modeling Toolbox for Matlab/Octave.
